Due to asthma, 2Lt Osborne was replaced as pilot by 2Lt Calvin G. Cragun prior to the 458th's departure for the ETO. S/Sgt Lewis was grounded at some point during his tour. He became deaf on a mission due to a head cold. The status of 2Lt Converse, Sgt Allen, and Sgt Larimore is unknown.
It is assumed that most of this crew flew their combat tour with Lt Cragun and completed 30 missions.
